OUR BELIEFS
We, at the Peaceful Heart Church™, are a nondenominational
church that believes that we are all
spirits in bodies, seeking and discovering our own
personal truth in our own unique way.
For many of us, that truth is found through Jesus Christ, Buddha, The Divine, or Pagan Gods
and Goddesses. While others find their truth through introspection, examining life and the
experiences we all have. All of these paths and more are welcomed.
We value all the viewpoints, however varied and controversial they might be.
We believe in religious freedom, as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others and is
within the law. However, as we advocate for living within the dictates of the law we do not
believe the laws of man are always in harmony with the las of GOD (i.e., Universal Love,
Great Spirit, Mother Earth, etc.). This statement reflects our disagreement with basic human
rights being abused by laws created to enforce inequality.
We do not advocate for the use of violence as a means to facilitate change.
We welcome any who seek understanding, wisdom and tolerance.
We acknowledge the concept of “conscientization” or “critical consciousness” as a model for
manifesting change.
We believe the process of healing individual community, national, world and earthly trauma
is a gateway to increasing the capacity to give and receive love for the self, others and the
planet.
We are advocates for the harmonious care of the planet and encourage all people to view
themselves as stewards for the planet and all of the planet’s sentient beings, as
demonstrated by their actions.
We use teaching material from a variety of sources, as wisdom is found in many places and
people each hear spiritual messages in different ways.
Through our Fellowship, we seek to discover and understand universal truths and to
incorporate these truths into a holistic way of living that is inclusive.
We believe that there are no absolutes. We believe all truths are generated by personal and
cultural experiences, therefore we believe and advocate that all truths can transform as a
result of the change of beliefs.
OUR DECLARATION O F FAITH
Our main purpose is to help any and all who ask to find their spiritual truth, regardless of
race, gender, background or other spiritual affiliations. To that end:
We believe in God, respect the power of meditation, prayer and ceremony. We also respect
and value those who do not believe in God and those who get their answers through means
other than prayer. We believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to find their
purpose and achieve a healthy self-image. We believe in allowing individual responsibility
for spiritual growth.
OUR VISION
The vision of Peaceful Heart Church™ is to become a spiritual lighthouse that is committed
to change the world through introspection, education and outreach, where anyone can
experience personal abundance, connected spirituality and encounter the skills necessary to
embrace healthy relationships.
We strive to be a vibrant, welcoming and faith-filled community. Guided by Spirit and
centered on Sacrament, we are called to serve so that all may experience the healing,
transformative, empowering love of spirit through the offering of sacred Sacrament.
OUR MISSION
To demonstrate unconditional Love with the intent of creating “a space” which encourages
people to people exchange ordinary living for an extraordinary life through the
transformational power of spiritual growth.
